Hangover this Thursday, the 25th
Going by everything I've heard, the Hangover should be funny as hell. I propose we go see it this Thursday at the Court Street theater near Borough Hall. There's a showing at 8:45 that looks just right; post either if you're coming or if the time doesn't work for you. Also, I don't have some of your numbers, so those would be good too.
Finally, here's your funny video of the day (no offense to any dictators in the audience): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAW5QILiq1s

Unlimited FREE Sangria? No way! Saturday 1pm
That's right folks, we've found the best brunch place in Manhattan and it's called Calle Ocho on the upper west side at 446 Columbus Ave.
http://www.calleochonyc.com/
They have an unlimited Sangria bar, and it's free if you come for Brunch ($10-15 plates). I've only been there once, but trust me you'll get happily drunk on 7 different kinds of great sangria while enjoying American and Latin breakfast cuisine. We're heading there Saturday at 1pm, with a drunken stroll through Central Park to follow. I hope to see you all there, let me know how many you are bringing so I can call for reservations Friday.

There Will Be Beer Pong
It's 3:20 in the morning and I know very little neuro, but it's ok because tomorrow after we all smoke this test there will be beer pong. We're gonna try and play in the 825 Piano room around 6:00 or 7:00 once people have awoke from their naps/completed their softball obligations. Hope to see you all there. Good Luck tomorrow/today.

The Summer 2009 Sleeping in Dirt Near Trees Trip
...or 'camping' if you prefer- I surely don't- is in the initial stages of planning. Right now the itinerary involves two really great spots near the great lakes, Ive been to each of them, theyre pretty bitchin(see links below), each involve really beautiful hikes, one fairly easy and one moderate that wll take you on an adventure of natural wonder. An added bonus, and further incentive for those of you who hate nature, and by association god, is that we will be close to the fingerlake wine tours. These involve driving along border of the lakes and stopping at each vineyard and sampling all their yummy grape juice. Its something like 3$ for 5 tasting or something on that scale. "Not it" on designated driving, suckas gots to be quick.
Anywho, please let me know those of you who are interested, and if so, your preferred weekend. I will do my best to accomodate everyone. (These words will prove to be fairly humiliating if no one wants to come, so for those of you who dont show unless you have a note from your doctor Simon is going to punch you in your popliteal fossa). Below are links where you can see pics, technology is wack, check em out.

Blog Blog Blog Blog (AKA Blog Blog)
I think we all should vote on the name for this blog. While I am quite impressed with Cucco's original choice, I think we should hold a vote. I'm voting for what Cucco would call this at 3AM after studying 8 hours of ECM... the Blog Blog Blog Blog Blog or just Blog Blog for short.
Voting Closes Sunday June 14th.
PS - Someone force James "Call My Cell Phone" Hassel onto this blog

mmmmmmmm....summer
For the Brooklynites in the group, you know what I'm talking about. For the out-of-towners, you're in for a delicious treat, for those of you not quite sure if you've every been (Sean), this is your chance to know for sure.
I'll keep you posted on when I'll shuttle as many people in my car as I can. I'm thinking not next week, but the week after (of the 21st).

Shakespeare in the park
For those of you who aren't on my gmail list, I'll be going to wait in line for Twelfth Night tickets on Thursday the 18th.
Here is my description from the invite:
It's that time again...
bring your sleeping bags, tents*, snacks, and sleepy selves, and meet us at the Delacorte theater for some early morning fun.
Talia and I usually aim to get there by 7am- at which point we park ourselves on (in for Tiff) the line, and take a lovely nap in the shade.
By 10am, the theater ppl start monitoring the line, so it's a bit harder to fall asleep. However, at that time, we usually take out our entertainment supplies: snacks, crosswords, HP books, other books, magazines, sandwiches, etc.
The less prepared my order food and/or coffee from local delis who will deliver to the line by shouting your name while walking up and down it.
Ticket distribution starts at 1pm, and once they start handing them out, it goes by pretty quickly. Each person on/in line can get up to two tickets.
Hope to see you there!

*Talia and Leat (sadly) do not promote the pitching of tents on Central Park property. However, if one were to ask us about assembling tents while on line, we would have this advice:
1. Tents in the park will help you make friends. If you are planning on attending this event while incognito, do not pitch a tent.
2. The parks people will ask you to rotate your tent so that it doesn't stick out into the walkway. Align your tent parallel to the edge of the lawn to avoid being woken up.
3. At 10am the theater people will be Debbie Downers (for Lauren) and make you break down your tent- This will result in much sadness and heartache, to be (partially) resolved only by delicious sandwiches.

Friday
We need to come up with a plan for pregame on friday night after the softball game. If someone has a car and is willing to drive, we should probably make a trip to the beverage depot on the way to or from prospect park. This could be followed by a movie/drinking game or a 825 piano room drinkathon. If anyone has any good ideas post away.
Good luck with neuro studies

Moon This Sunday
A bunch of us are going to see Moon this Sunday. What is moon? Moon is an awesome looking movie that is probably going to be full of awesome. And on top of that it has Kevin Spacey who hardly acts anymore.
Don't take my word for it.
Watch this trailer instead: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIexG8179K8
The movie is getting a limited release in NYC and LA so we can see it. Let me know if you are interested in coming
