The Summer 2009 Sleeping in Dirt Near Trees Trip

...or 'camping' if you prefer- I surely don't- is in the initial stages of planning. Right now the itinerary involves two really great spots near the great lakes, Ive been to each of them, theyre pretty bitchin(see links below), each involve really beautiful hikes, one fairly easy and one moderate that wll take you on an adventure of natural wonder. An added bonus, and further incentive for those of you who hate nature, and by association god, is that we will be close to the fingerlake wine tours. These involve driving along border of the lakes and stopping at each vineyard and sampling all their yummy grape juice. Its something like 3$ for 5 tasting or something on that scale. "Not it" on designated driving, suckas gots to be quick.

Anywho, please let me know those of you who are interested, and if so, your preferred weekend. I will do my best to accomodate everyone. (These words will prove to be fairly humiliating if no one wants to come, so for those of you who dont show unless you have a note from your doctor Simon is going to punch you in your popliteal fossa). Below are links where you can see pics, technology is wack, check em out.

  3. Stop hitting on my girlfriend

  4. I'm in. Shot not DD. My july is wide open except for the weekend of the 18th, last weekend of june looks good too.

  5. When you go, be sure to visit this guy I know.
He'll be in the woods around there- I'll give you coordinates shortly. He probably won't have wine, but will have some equally delicious goat milk.

  6. in. Dates: maybe last weekend in june, weekend of july 10-12, all of august, when overprotective B can go too...

i am an invaluable camping asset: I used to be a Polish girl scout. haha

  8. This sounds awesome but due to my massive levels of on-dutyness at the end of June and throughout July, I most likely won't be able to make it :: tear ::

P.S. - Polish girl scout? Is that like the Special Olympics version of a regular girl scout?
